The Vivarium in Beijing Aquarium -- Made by CAA












































The CAA members, also the designers of the vivarium --Wang Chao, Zhu Zheng, Luo Jingxue, Yang Yufang,  Zou Deyu.






























Priviledgedly invited by Beijing Aquarium to carry out the vivarium NO. 15 project, the CAA spent 2 mounths carefully and earnestly finishing this work.





























In terms of the law of nature and the most suitable arrangement, using the most tropic plants, they tried to recreate the appearance and feature of rainforest.

Emulating the ecosystem: emergent layer, crown canopy, sapling layer, shrub layer, ground level. They controled every variable in a reasonable condition to acclimate.

3.5 Meter Vivarium Layout Process An open space in stair Mr. Chen owns was taken full advantage to set a vivarium. Material preparation: Polyfoam, Pigment, Coco peat, Sphagnum moss, Dragon stones, Volcanic stones. Plants: Bromeliad, Tillandsia, Neottopteris nidus, Nephroleis exaltata, Appollo fern,  Hoya compacta, Chamaedorea elegans, Fittonia arundinacea, Hypnum plumae forme, Leucobryum, glauam, Star moss, Big cypress moss, Green coral fern, Ivh vine, Aeschynanthus radicans, Pilea notota, Fringe tree bark. Aquascaping -- Peaceful This is a typical concave composition layout. We see the creator's high techniques in his rock arrangement and plant trimming.
