Firstly, do marketing research to find the starting point.

As you can see, aquarium is generally divided into two parts -- the seawater and freshwater (also called aquascape). Take aquascape as an example, it has da grou of hobbyists to support this sector. And with the exacerbation of haze, the demand of 
the green is increasing. So we can infer that it has a potential marketing indeed.

Secondly, determine the position, the rofit and core competition.
In short, you should decide which brand or brands to choose. Should I choose --
small profits and quick returns or the opposite? Should I sell products or service?
Core competition is about your unique advantages, like patnents, exclusive agency
and so on.

Thirdly. the capital sunk, sales and network.

The capital refers many fees including room charge, stock, ad., cash,wages and other relevant pay. Sales and network are very essential process. If you have adequate preparation at the early stage, you'll be easier to do well and make money.
With time going by, your shop becomes a household name so that it's hard to be unsuccessful.

Unlike clothes, if you are lucky, you can sell dozens of clothes in one day. Aquarium,
it may not have an order in one week even longer time. As an old saying goes," any
investment involves an element of risk." What you can do is that believe your choice,
to do what you can do every day. There's a belief that fortune sides with one who persists.
